Your Whys + Your Why Nots

In manifesting, we all have two reasons: our WHY and our WHY NOT.

 

First, there’s the reason WHY we have a particular dream.

 

It’s that thing you know you’re meant to be doing or experiencing in this lifetime.

 

It’s what makes us feel connected to our highest purpose.

 

Our WHY feels good and empowering when we think about it, and it drives us to want to do and be more than we are in each moment.

 

Knowing why you want what you want is what brings richness and meaning to any manifestation journey.

 

The only problem is, most of us don’t know what our WHY is.

 

We don’t even know what we want to create.

 

This often makes us feel lost and disconnected from a sense of purpose and meaning in life…which makes manifesting really difficult.

 

The other reason, which we talk about less, is our reason WHY NOT.

 

Why we DON’T go for the dream.

 

Why we AREN’T living our soul's purpose yet.

 

Why life ISN’T working out the way we thought it would.

 

The biggest problem with our WHY NOT’s is that while we talk about them less, we think about - and are driven by - them more.

 

And in all my years of coaching, I can tell you that for the most part, our WHY NOT’s are reflections of our deepest fear.

 

The fear that keeps us from trying.

 

The fear that keeps us from making a scary leap of faith.

 

The fear that keeps us from saying yes to the opportunity we know will change the course of our lives.

 

Our WHY NOT lurks behind every decision we make that isn’t aligned with what will bring our dreams into reality.

 

It’s the core reason behind why we aren’t yet living the life of our dreams.

 

And we are often as unsure as to what our WHY NOT is as we are disconnected from our WHY.

 

In fact, our WHY NOT is most likely what is keeping us from even knowing what our WHY is.

 

So here’s what I want to say to you:

 

Learning how to master the WHY NOT will be the single most important thing you do to get to your WHY.

 

Because learning how to navigate around your WHY NOT’S and doing it anyway is what’s going to get you to your destination.

 

How fast you get there is directly proportional to how quickly you learn to override the WHY NOT programming.
