STOP Sabotaging Your Dreams

Did you know that only 9% of people keep their New Year’s resolutions?

That’s a heartbreaking rate of failure, but it tells me something really important.

It tells me that people are not connecting to their dreams, and they’re losing momentum before they even get started (almost 30% of New Year’s resolutions are abandoned by the end of the first week in January!!).

If you’ve been following along, I’ve been giving away some of my favorite tips to help you write resolutions you’ll keep and stay passionate about.


So I have one more exercise for you to do that will help you stay connected to what you intentionally want to create throughout the year.

Grab a pen and your journal, put on some soothing music (I highly recommend mantra music) and write a letter to yourself now from the future you who has lived the year where you kept your intentions and created the life you dreamt of.


Ask yourself:

How do you feel?

What did you do to get here?

What were your daily habits?

What things came up along the way?

How did you get around them?

What support did you have?

Dropping into your Future Self is one of the most powerful meditative practices you can do to keep you in the energy you need to be in to create what you’re wanting to create.

Which is so important in helping you harness the energy and momentum you need to stay the course.

Think of it as a safety net that will keep you out of being the 91% of people who let go of their dreams right before they materialize.

Because here’s the thing: if enough people stay in the conversation of growth and are doing the work, those numbers will change.

And if anyone is going to shift the data, it’s going to be the people that find themselves in my sphere, and especially those in my group coaching program SHIFT
