Full Moon in Capricorn

Cancer Season has arrived, and so have heightened emotions, big dreams and a sense of not knowing how to make those dreams happen.

Enter the Full Moon in Capricorn, which serves up some get sh*t done energy with a side of discipline and consistency.

Except it’s a Full Moon, so in order to harness that energy, we have to let go of what keeps us separate from it.

And since it’s the Capricorn Full Moon, that means it’s time to look at where we’re being too disciplined and not allowing room for flexibility or fluidity.

Or where we’re not disciplined enough, or too in our stories of fear that keep us paralyzed.

And all or nothing sensibility that always ends up yielding nothing.

A common story that sounds like progress but keeps us stuck is the one that tells us that all we need is our desire and inspiration in order to create the life of our dreams.

That the desire itself is proof that we are meant to have it, so we need to believe we deserve it and stay in the energy of worth.

And of course that’s part of the equation, but it’s not the whole enchilada.

This Full Moon offers us more self-awareness, so we can look at these shadowier sides of ourselves and choose differently.

So if we aren’t actively making decisions to bring those desires towards us, they aren’t guaranteed.

And that means showing up in the times we don’t want to.

As I always say: discipline is there when inspiration is not.

And that is a necessary piece of the puzzle.

Thank you, Capricorn Full Moon.

We might be very confronted by familiar stories right now, but we are being asked to remember that feelings are not facts.

This is an important time to get quiet and get real, learning how to differentiate your projections from the reality of the situation.

Cancer season gives us extra access to our intuitive senses, but only if we’re able to discern what is what.

Allow yourself to connect with all the different possibilities and let the energy of the Full Moon in Capricorn light the way forward in my monthly moon workshop membership, The Illumination, which can be found herhere.
