Making the Mundane Sacred: Why Life Isn’t Always a Hell Yes
I keep seeing this everywhere lately: If it is not a hell yes, it is a hell no.
It is not new, but it is back on trend. And I have to say, that is just not true.
Sometimes it is a no because fear is running the show.
Sometimes it is not a hell yes because you feel neutral.
Sometimes it is a no simply because the task is boring.
None of that makes it a hell no. It just makes it a thing. And we are the ones who decide what kind of meaning that thing holds.
A lot of life is folding laundry, sending emails, wiping your kid's butt, and washing your face when all you want to do is sleep. The real work is learning how to make the mundane sacred. How to turn the hard into something playful. How to keep showing up even when it does not feel exciting.
What I have seen time and time again is that the hell yes usually comes after you do the thing, not before.
This week inside SHIFT with SHIFT with Jamie, we are working with exactly that. We are grounding our dreams into the earth and learning how the ordinary steps of your day-to-day can become sacred when you stay connected to the bigger vision you are creating.
Inside SHIFT, you will find meditations, inspirations, and wisdom drops that guide you to move through fear and bring devotion into the everyday. You will ask yourself questions that spark insight, and work with journaling prompts that help you uncover where meaning can live in the ordinary.
The extraordinary life you want is built on how you show up every day. Not in one big breakthrough, but in repeated choices, small steps, and devotion to the mundane.
If you are ready to stop waiting for the hell yes and start creating your life from the inside out, this is your invitation.
