The LAST Full Moon of the Year!
As we enter the LAST Full Moon of the year, we want to take extra time to reflect and release before the end of what might be the craziest year in most of our lifetimes…You might be saying, Jamie, you are always telling us to release, and that’s true. There is so much coming at us and being put on us, that we are constantly working on the release. And when we have the extra energy from the Sky to help us, it is great to spend extra time focusing on that release.
While I am not an astrologer, when I notice such a trend in my clients, I like to look at the planets and see what is happening. I believe that we have free will and are in control of our lives, AND I also believe we are ruled by the cosmos and when we tap into what is happening astrologically we can have guidance and clarity.
As many of you are aware, we are about to move into the Full Moon in Cancer. This is a very emotional sign. So you might be in a space where you are feeling all the feelings…That’s ok, sit with them…And then try to move your lens. We were all knocked off of our routine, and while that is highly uncomfortable, it most likely also brought you more presently into your life. Really being able to notice what is important to you, what lights you up when all the distractions are taken away. Even those painful moments, can you find something in them that brought you a gift.?
During the Full Moon, the moon is in one sign and the Sun is in the opposing sign. We want to work with both of these energies. So we are working with The Full Moon in Cancer and the Sun in Capricorn. These are two somewhat opposing energies. We have the watery, emotional, compassionate Cancer battling with the Capricorn “get it done” sun.
We can sit with our emotions…Allowing all of the feelings to come up, and then question them. Look for guidance from them. With the awareness we gain, we can take from it the lessons we need, honor them, and then release them. With that release, we leave room for something completely new to show up. This is filled with endless possibilities.
