Full Moon in Aries: Aligning Your Purpose with Passion

Welcome to the Full Moon in Aries: Aligning Your Purpose with Passion

Okay, so here we are, basking in the energy of the Full Moon in Aries. We’re still in Libra season, which means there’s a lot of focus on how we relate to everything around us—relationships, connections, and our role in the larger picture. Now, we bring the fiery energy of Aries into the mix, and it’s here to shake things up.

With the sun still in Libra, emphasizing balance and harmony, the moon in Aries brings in the opposite but complementary energy—individualism, passion, and self-leadership. And while they may seem like opposites, this balance is divinely orchestrated to work together. It’s a cosmic reminder that the relationship we have with ourselves directly impacts all other relationships in our lives. When you honor your purpose and care for your needs, everything around you improves. You show up better, more grounded, and with more love to give.

Aries Energy: The Fire Within

Aries is all about action, initiation, and independence. It pushes you to step into your purpose with full force. But with that, let’s also acknowledge the shadow side. Aries in its shadow can be selfish, charging ahead without considering its impact on others. It’s that “me first” energy that bulldozes through relationships and connection, ignoring the give-and-take required for true balance.

The other side of the shadow is when you’re not standing up for yourself—when you shrink, avoid taking up space, or hide from your purpose. This full moon is asking you to find the middle ground. Where are you dimming your own light? Where are you not showing up fully for yourself? And how can you take more aligned action?

Finding Balance: Libra’s Influence

On the flip side, the shadow of Libra is passivity—being so focused on pleasing others that you forget to speak up for yourself. We’ve all had that friend or partner who says, “Whatever you want, I’m fine with anything,” and while that sounds nice, it puts all the pressure on the other person. That indecision is exhausting for everyone involved and doesn’t lead to true connection. This is why the balance between Aries’ independence and Libra’s focus on partnership is so key.

This full moon is a call to look at where you are either over-extending into your independence or becoming too passive in your relationships. It’s asking you to bring action to your words. If you’ve been saying you want something to change, now is the time to do something about it.

Taking Aligned Action

When Aries and Libra work together in harmony, you get the perfect balance of passion and consideration. You take care of yourself, stand up for your needs, and also show up fully in your relationships. It’s about acting from a place of alignment—knowing that when you’re in your purpose, the people around you benefit, too. Your light lifts everyone up.

So, let this fiery Aries energy move you. Ask yourself, “Where have I been holding back? Where am I pushing too hard?” Write it all down. Get clear on where you’re not in alignment with your highest self.

A Full Moon Ritual

If it feels right for you, consider doing a fire release ritual. After your meditation, journal out everything that’s coming up for you. Where have you been too passive? Where have you not taken action on your purpose? And then—release. If it’s safe to do so, burn those pieces of paper and watch the old stories go up in flames. Let them be released with the full moon.

A word of caution: if you’re burning indoors, be smart! (I’ve had a close call or two myself, so trust me on this.) You can do it over the toilet—burn it, then flush it. Or if you’re outdoors, throw it into a campfire. If fire isn’t your thing, simply rip it up and flush it away. The key is to let it go. The old stories don’t serve you anymore.

If Not Now, When?

As this Aries moon shines brightly, remember—if not now, when? The energy of this full moon is about stepping into action. Don’t wait for the “perfect” moment to pursue your purpose. Life is happening now, and the universe is always conspiring for your highest good.

Have a beautiful full moon in Aries. Burn bright, and I’ll see you back for the new moon in Scorpio, where we’ll dive even deeper.
