Full Moon in Aries- Igniting our purpose

On October 20th at 10:56am EST we enter the peak of the Full Moon in Aries. Full moons in general are a really beautiful time to work on what is blocking us from creating what we want to create or bring into our lives.

New Moons and Full Moons are connected. Often what is blocking us from bringing our New Moon intentions into the world is brought up during the corresponding Full Moon. In order to manifest and call in the things you desire, you have to release the thoughts, patterns, habits etc that are keeping you from it.

That’s why we work in cycles with the Moons, the ebb and flow of calling in and releasing. Each Moon cycle correlates with different signs and either shows you areas that are blocking or areas that you are wanting to create from, that is why it is so powerful to use the Moon cycles to manifest with.

So while Full Moons are often uncomfortable because they bring to focus what we don’t want to see, they are what shine the light on how to create the life that we want. Because if you're not aware of what's stopping you, then you’ll never move beyond it.

When working with Full Moons, you are not only feeling the energy of where the Moon is, but also the energy of what sign the sun is in. For this cycle, we are feeling the vibration of the Moon in Aries and the Sun in Libra. While these energies feel opposing, it is the balance of the two that is where powerful creation can occur.

Aries is the sign of action and purpose. When we think about Aries energy it is determined, quick thinking, decisive. There is often a single-minded focus on purpose and how to bring it forward into the world. It is driven to find a way to make the things around them bigger and better.

But when out of balance, the execution can lack the inclusion of the people and situations around them. It can be a super productive energy but can create blocks from creating because it doesn’t take into consideration the other. All true creation needs to consider not only ourselves but also the impact that it has on others.

Adding to this, the energy of the Sun, which is in Libra, the focus is on our relationships and how we relate to people, the world, and everything around us. This is an important opposition to the Moon in Aries. It brings the light to where we are connected to others, and the world around us.

As with everything, we need the balance of the two. This Moon might show you where you are too concerned with the outer world and others and therefore not taking action on your true purpose.

When working with this powerful Full Moon you can find the balance of the two energies (Aries and Libra). Getting quiet enough to tap into your true purpose and connecting with how it will make the world around you a better place.

What is my purpose?

What are there areas in my life where I have put on blinders to the outside world?

Where am I plowing through?

What roadblocks and walls do I keep running into?

What choices can I make that enable me to do it differently?

All you need is privacy, a journal and good wifi.
