How I Healed My Relationship With My Body
If you’ve been following along, you’ve heard me talk about my past struggles with disordered eating and body dismorphia. .
It was a battle that nearly killed me, but it also ended up saving me.
It was through my deepest pain that I was introduced to the tools that would eventually save me, and that I would build a beautiful life around.
And while my story is specific to me, it’s one we can all relate to.
We all have our own challenges, yet of all the relationships we have, the one with our body is one of the most complex.
What’s important to remember is that each of us has our own unique relationship with our own unique body.
And in the way that there’s no blueprint for what our body is supposed to look like, there’s also no blueprint for what our relationship with it is supposed to feel like.
It’s not a one size fits all kind of thing.
It’s not even a same size each day kind of thing.
Our relationship with our body - like all other relationships - has different seasons, and different moments within those seasons.
I am so much better now, and have such a beautiful relationship with food and exercise.
AND sometimes I still have hard days.
On my hard days, I know that I have to choose the better thought, and commit to it even when it’s difficult to fully get behind.
I remind myself that I am so much more than my body and my size, and I use my practice and mindfulness tools to help move me past the challenging moments.
So if you are familiar with that inner tug of war, please know:
It’s okay to struggle, and it can (and will) get better.
And there are strategic tools you can learn that can help you get there.
One of the reasons I am so endlessly passionate about the work I do is because it offers an anchor into the truth of how amazing we all are.
It provides a doorway into truly loving our bodies (and ourselves) in all their different seasons, and gives us access to a world of freedom we never thought possible before.
I share my story because I believe that it proves that real, sustainable healing is possible.
With the right tools and the right conversation, the wrong habits and beliefs start to fall away.
The shadows in your past that kept you small are gone.
And life starts to feel good.
And when you feel good, life becomes great.

SHIFT meets LIVE three times a month on Wednesdays, and you will receive one pre-recorded Workshop a month. We move the times around to suit different time zones.
A lot of SHIFTERS are not able to attend live, so we designed the program in a way that allows everyone to get the same amazing attention and care regardless.
Instead of bringing their questions to class, SHIFTERS write in with anything they’d like me to address…so everyone gets the same level of attention, and SHIFT fits into everyone’s unique schedule.
Each session is promptly recorded and uploaded to the SHIFT Portal, which you’ll have access to throughout the program.
Once you complete the enrollment process, you gain access to the SHIFT Portal and the SHIFT Foundational Bundle, which includes access to Breathing Into Your Future Self and #SHIFTING with Kirtan Kriya.
Our first LIVE workshop is Wednesday, January 18 at 8 pm EST, at which point you will gain access to the SHIFT Library.
One of my superpowers is being able to teach someone with no meditation experience alongside someone who has been practicing for years. SHIFTERS come in at all levels of practice, and are equally impacted by the magic of the program.
My unique formula uses meditation as one of the tools that will lead to the change, manifestations and creations you want in your life. It’s something you’ve never experienced before…
WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT FOR THIS PROGRAM?
15-30 minutes per day, with a 1-hour workshop once a week.
Many SHIFTERS choose to invest more time in the program—watching past workshops from the SHIFT Library, diving deeper into journaling prompts, participating in the Slack group and exploring insights that came up during the daily meditation. It’s up to you!
WHAT IF I CAN'T MAKE THE LIVES?
Not a problem at all. Many of the women enrolled in SHIFT don't make the live workshops and still experience the same level of transformation as the SHIFTERS that do make the lives.
All calls are recorded and uploaded to your SHIFT portal, and everyone writes in their questions to be answered - so you don't have to be there to get the same attention as someone who is.
HOW WILL THE LIVE WORKSHOPS WORK?
The LIVE Workshops are hosted on Zoom. All you need is privacy, a journal and a good WiFi connection.
In addition to the live coaching, I’ll be leading the group through meditation, so make sure you’re somewhere where you can participate comfortably. Don’t worry if you’re camera shy - you can easily participate without your camera on.
Our first Workshop will be on Wednesday, January 18 at 8 pm EST.
After that, we will email you the date and time of our next workshop, which will always be on a Wednesday. While we have designed the program to not necessitate your live attendance, we want everyone - regardless of where they are in the world - to have the chance to join us live throughout the program if they want to.
SHIFT is designed to give you plenty of personalized attention and support. I keep the group intimate so I can hold space for you, and each one of your fellow SHIFTERS.
I support and encourage you throughout the entire process. You will have a deeply personal connection and relationship with me.
You can also email my team with any of your goals, questions, or issues that come up along the healing journey. They are all passed along to me and I will either answer them directly or use them to design the workshops.
