The Fall Equinox
Today is the Fall Equinox on this side of the globe. The day and night are equal. Showing us the polarities of the Earth. The light and the dark have equal time. Allowing us more energy to sit with both. While we are often told to stay in the light, we need to honor the dark as it is often what makes our light shine brighter.
As the days move on, we will shift into spending more time in the darkness, giving us an opportunity to turn more inward. Getting quiet and still, allowing more time in contemplation. This marks the beginning of a time that we focus on releasing. It is known as a time to harvest and to do so, we must make space.
Many of us are trying to create change, change within ourselves as well as change within the world around us. In order to make that change, we must make space for it. We need to release things that are taking up space that is no longer serving us. We need to honor what we need to let go of so that we can leave room for what we want to grow.
I recorded a meditation, allowing you to get quiet and go within. Grab your journal, go to a place with privacy, turn down the lights, and maybe light a candle and some incense…surrendering and allowing whatever to come up come up…
