Body Love-What Does It Mean?

Last year, I had to give up riding my Peloton.

My relationship with it went from being healthy to obsessive, and it was starting to take over my life.

What started as a 30-minute ride 4 times a week became a 90-minute ride 7 days a week.

And with that came some very loud voices telling me some very destructive things.

If you’ve followed along with me, you know that when I was in my 20’s I almost died from an eating disorder.

And that eating disorder was punctuated by over-exercising.

So had I relapsed?

No.

But was I in a danger zone?

Definitely.

Because here’s the thing: recovery - of anything - is never a straight line.

It’s always a conversation.

And if you’re paying attention, it’s always an opportunity for growth.

Recently, I started riding my Peloton again.

It’s a completely different conversation.

I had to get off so I could get back on.

And while this is my summer of doing less, when one of my business clients came to me with a concept that opens up this conversation, I knew I wanted to be a part of it.

So I invite you to Summer Sessions, a four-week program with me and Wellness by Kelley’s very own Kelley Nemiro.

Summer Sessions is a place for us to all be human together.

To engage in a conversation to explore and cultivate a positive & healthy relationship with life itself.

We’ll talk about body image, food, pool parties, BBQ’s and more.

And we’ll guide you towards feeling your best all summer long, and making decisions for your body AND your mind that support that.

Real talk, real life, to help you feel light, free and connected to your body, your mind and your goals.
